The Tennessee Valley Authority and the Bicentennial Volunteers Inc. have announced the recipients of the STEM Grants, including some locally. According to news release, the TVA is awarding $1.5 million in grant funding to 342 schools across their service region, which includes five states, to help educators develop science, technology, engineering and math education projects. Locally, Heritage Christian Academy, Sinking Fork Elementary School, Todd County Middle School, Todd County Central High School and South Todd Elementary School were awarded grants.
