Hopkinsville authorities respond to crash after vehicle ‘ended up in body of water’

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKRN) — Hopkinsville authorities responded to a crash where one vehicle “ended up in a body of water off the road” Thursday night, according to officials.

In a Facebook post , Hopkinsville Fire/EMS said the crash happened near the intersection of KY 107 and 800 Thursday evening.

One vehicle reportedly “left the roadway, rolled several times, and ended up in a body of water off the road.”

One patient was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress. Officials added initial reports indicated two additional patients were transported prior to the arrival of EMS staff.

News 2 reached out to the Hopkinsville Police Department for more information, but police said the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident.
