Areas of Middle Tennessee are still rebuilding more than a year after an outbreak of deadly tornadoes roared across the region on Dec. 9, 2023. Although 7 tornadoes actually touched down during the afternoon and evening that December day, two were responsible for the majority of the destruction and death.
