Nashville, TN – A winter storm is sweeping across Middle Tennessee, bringing up to 8 inches of snow by early Saturday.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Winter Storm Warning that remains in effect until 6 a.m. CST Saturday. Heavy snow, with total accumulations between 4 and 8 inches, is expected across the region, including Nashville, Clarksville, and Murfreesboro.
According to the NWS, snow began early Friday morning and will continue through Friday night. In some areas, sleet and rain could mix with snow in the afternoon, particularly near the Tennessee-Alabama border.
