Anaysia Bagwell knocked down four three-pointers and finished with a game-high 25 points to lead the Christian County Colonels to a 68-29 victory over hosts Hopkinsville on Thursday in both teams’ 8th District opener.
The Lady Colonels avenged an overtime loss in last season’s district title game to improve to 10-8. Hopkinsville slipped to 3-7 with its fourth-straight loss ahead of a visit from Paducah Tilghman on Monday.
Bagwell knocked down a pair of three-pointers and Ne’Vaeh Day added six points to help Christian County to a 13-5 advantage after the first quarter.
