CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police responding to a reported crash overnight in New Providence instead found a man with several stab wounds who later died from his injuries.
At about 2 a.m. Saturday morning, Clarksville Police responded to a welfare check at Campville Mobile Home Park on Cedarcrest Drive after receiving a 911 call on the translator line regarding a possible rollover crash, according to police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.
“Upon arrival, officers did not find an overturned vehicle but instead discovered an unconscious male lying beside a running vehicle, bleeding from apparent stab wounds,” Beaubien said. “Officers immediately initiated life-saving measures before the victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare, where he was later pronounced deceased.”…
