CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Lost animals in Clarksville and Montgomery County will now be able to get back to their owners quickly, thanks to a donation from the Clarksville Rotary Club.
The club recently donated a microchip scanning station to Montgomery County Animal Care and Control, giving them the ability to reunite lost pets in the community.
The Rotary Club funded the equipment needed to give the public access to the scanning station, allowing individuals who find lost pets to scan for an implanted microchip, which may contain contact information for the pet’s owner.
