DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — A former Dickson County detective is facing charges after authorities say he allowed his underage child to drive with another child in the car.
Douglas Kimbro, 40, was arrested Wednesday following a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe that began in February at the request of 23rd Judicial District Attorney General Ray Crouch. TBI agents launched the investigation after receiving a complaint that Kimbro permitted his 13-year-old child to operate a vehicle in both Dickson and Humphreys counties. A 9-year-old child was also in the vehicle at the time, according to the agency.
