Hankook Tire has donated $20,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee (BGCMT) to support the opening of its newest location in Clarksville. Officials from both Hankook Tire and the BGCMT Clarksville Club announced the donation during a community event on May 31.
The funding will help the club expand its enrichment programs and services to meet the needs of the Clarksville community.
Hankook Tire Donation Supports Local Growth and Academic Development
The Clarksville location will provide curriculum-based programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and leadership development, BGCMT said. BGCMT designed these offerings to support youth in the area as Clarksville’s population continues to rise.
“Clarksville is home to our North America manufacturing operation, and we are dedicated to supporting the community where so many of us live and work,” said Rob Williams, President of Hankook Tire America Corp. “We have seen the great work that the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee has done in the region.
