CMCSS focuses on $6.5M worth of summer school, programs for students

Summer Learning and summer camps are underway in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System costing the district $6.5 million for summer camps and the traditional summer school program.

An estimated 3,700 students are busy this week in summer programs, with 1,500 students in grades K-5; 800 students participating in grades 6-8; and some 1,400 students in grades 9-12, according to Anthony Johnson, CMCSS Chief Communications Officer.
