Flags at half-staff on Friday to honor interment of 2 soldiers killed on active duty, 1 from Louisville

Gov. Andy Beshear has ordered flags at all state buildings lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday in honor of a U.S. Army soldier from Louisville and a Marine from Clarksville, Tennessee, being interred in Kentucky.

U.S. Army Pfc. Tyler T. Ray, 34, of Louisville, died on Saturday, May 24, while serving on active duty, according to the governor’s office. Ray was assigned to Company C, 2nd Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
