Fort Campbell officials will say farewell and job well-done to the current Garrison Commander and welcome the new commander Wednesday morning.
The Change of Command ceremony is set for Wednesday, June 18, at 10:00 at the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters. U.S. Army Garrison Fort Campbell will bid farewell to Col. Christopher J. Midberry and welcome Col. James M. Snowden.
Snowden was commissioned in 2002 as an Aviation officer from The United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science from West Point and a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Kansas State University. He served in a variety of command and staff assignments in Aviation and Special Operations units.
