Hopkinsville’s Downtown Entertainment District will open Saturday, June 21, city officials announced in a press release.
The district is an area of downtown where patrons of businesses that serve alcoholic beverages will be allowed to take their drinks outdoors and into other participating establishments. Street signs installed three months ago mark the district’s boundaries.
The district, approved last year by Hopkinsville City Council and recently authorized by a state license, will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
