Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum hosts Topping Out Ceremony, with opening planned next March | PHOTOS

FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Fort Campbell Historical Foundation held a Topping Out Ceremony and sneak peek on Friday for the new Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum.

More than 200 members of the military along with leaders from the communities surrounding Fort Campbell were in attendance. After the ceremony, guests were offered lunch and tours of the building. When completed, it will be one of the few showcase museums in the nation for the U.S. Army.

The museum will specifically highlight the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

Retired Maj. Gen. Brian Winski, president of the Fort Campbell Historical Foundation, previously served as commanding general on post and said he has a passion for the Army and a passion for the units that call Fort Campbell home…
