FT. CAMPBELL, Ky. (WSMV) – The funeral for a Fort Campbell soldier killed in an “aviation incident” last week will be held on Friday, according to his obituary.
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Dustin K. Wright died following the AH-64 Apache helicopter training accident on June 11. The 40-year-old was a pilot assigned to the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division.
Another pilot was involved in the accident and sustained minor injuries. The injured pilot was taken to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and was later released the night of the incident…
