Alien Invasion Day returns to Hopkinsville 70 years after Kelly Little Green Men encounter

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – 70 years after the Kelly Little Green Men were reported to have beamed down in Christian County, Visit Hopkinsville is hosting two extraterrestrial events to celebrate the city’s connection to this famous alien encounter.

The 1955 Kelly encounter remains one of the most compelling and debated close encounters in UFO history, according to a news release from Visit Hopkinsville. They are proud to honor this unique piece of local lore with a celebration that embraces curiosity, wonder, and a touch of the extraordinary.
