Charlotte Reeves Robertson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met June 12 at 6 p.m. at Springfield First Methodist Church.
Regent Becky Gunn welcomed approximately 60 members and guests to the meeting. Hostesses were Jo-Ellen Schuh, Terri Simmons and Liz King.
Following the Ritual and the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag, dinner was served. Mrs. Barbara Arms, program chairman, then introduced Mr. Bill Jones who spoke on the people and history of Robertson County.
