Hopkinsville Police arrested 54-year-old Melody Burrus of Hopkinsville after she reportedly attempted to stab a minor with a pair of scissors on Tuesday.
A woman called 911 to report a disturbance on behalf of her daughter. The mother shared that Burrus was attempting to stab her daughter with a pair of scissors.
Officers responded to a residence on Elm Street and made contact with Burrus and several minors that were in the house. A video obtained from one of the minors reportedly showed Burrus holding a pair of scissors and attempting to lunge at the victim while yelling, “I hate your guts.”…
