CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will open Friday, June 27, to help Clarksville and Montgomery County residents who had damage or losses from severe weather and flooding from April 2-24.
The center will be at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 501, in the second floor floor Genealogy Room, according to a news release from county spokesperson Michelle Hueffmeier. It will be open during library hours: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday-Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday 1-5 p.m.
Those impacted in Montgomery can now apply for FEMA Individual Assistance (IA):
- Online anytime at www.disasterassistance.gov
- By phone at 1-800-621-3362.
- On the FEMA mobile app.
- In-person at a Disaster Recovery Center.
Those eligible for FEMA’s IA program may receive up to $43,600 to help with rental assistance, home repair, and personal property replacement, in addition to other uninsured or underinsured disaster losses, the release said. More information on FEMA’s IA program can be found here…
