Tap This opens downtown with Clarksville’s first self-serve beer tap wall | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Located in the heart of Clarksville on Public Square, Tap This offers an experience never seen before in the city: a self-serve tap wall.

Locally owned by veterans and friends, Tap This has brought an innovative approach to on-tap drinks. The owners, Destinee and Jason Arnold and Becca and Sly Portades, thought that downtown Clarksville could use a little livening.

Destinee Arnold said they are just “four friends wanting to have somewhere for adults and families to have fun and enjoy the vibes.” The spot they chose on Public Square was sealed once Arnold met the landlord and felt like this was meant to be.

How it works

Tap This has a card-based system; patrons present their ID and payment up front, then are given a card to use on the self-serve tap wall. On each card, there is a pre-loaded amount that adds up to 32 ounces of drinks. You just tap the card and dispense your beverage.

Sampler glasses are provided to try drinks and decide what you like best. The selection of beers and drinks rotates throughout the weeks, providing a heap of options. The business is family- and pet-friendly, offering non-alcoholic drinks and charcuterie boards as well…
