The Fourth of July lands on a Friday this year, and Ashland City and the Town of Pegram both stand poised to celebrate the holiday weekend off with a bang. Both the northern and southern halves of the county will have free, family-friendly holiday celebrations, providing fireworks shows and activities that give Nashville a run for its money.
In Ashland City, Gateway Church Assembly of God will be hosting its fifth annual fireworks show at its campus at 1642 Highway 12 S., beginning at 9 p.m. Parking is free, and there will be food trucks on site, beginning at 5 p.m., with food for purchase.
