The Salvation Army offers heat relief for vulnerable neighbors in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN − As extreme heat continues to impact the region, The Salvation Army of Clarksville is stepping in to offer life-saving support to individuals and families who are especially vulnerable during this time.

To provide relief and protection from the high temperatures, The Salvation Army of Clarksville is currently opening its facility as a cooling center, handing out cold bottled water and hygiene kits, offering meals/snacks, showers, laundry, and pastoral care. These services are available to anyone in need, with a special focus on individuals experiencing homelessness, the elderly, families with young children, and those without reliable access to air conditioning.
