Kiwanis Club of Clarksville hears plans for new Ascension Saint Thomas hospital

As the date approaches for Ascension Saint Thomas to appear in a hearing before the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission, representatives are informing the people of Clarksville its plans to build a hospital in Montgomery County.

The hospital group is purchasing nearly 100-acres known to Clarksvillians as the Boyd Pumpkin Patch at Exit 11 off I-24 in Sango.

Its plans are to build a 44-bed hospital to start, that could grow to 132 beds…
