A former Cheatham County law enforcement officer is now facing his own legal troubles.
Ryan Matthew Creech, 50, of Clarksville, was indicted by a Cheatham County grand jury on charges of assault and aggravated assault on July 1.
According to a press release from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), Creech, a Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office patrolman at the time, allegedly used inappropriate force when responding to the traffic crash and put his hands around the necks of one of the subjects involved in the crash.
