Caitlin Connor, a former Army Engineer Captain with the 101st Airborne Division, has carried her commitment to service from Fort Campbell into her civilian career at HCA Healthcare. From leading Sapper platoon training to launching engineering projects across the post, Caitlin’s military experience shaped her into a resilient and people-focused leader.
After completing her service in 2019, Caitlin and her husband chose to settle in Clarksville. She found a natural fit at HCA Healthcare, where the mission-driven culture mirrored her values. “HCA Healthcare’s mission helped me feel much less anxious about transitioning; it mirrored my reasons for joining the service,” she explains.
Now a Senior HR Business Partner, Caitlin brings the same leadership mindset she developed in the Army to her role at HCA Healthcare. “I believe being a leader means driving process improvement in order to foster the most effective and formidable team,” she says. “Focus on being the best you can be, at whatever you’re doing, whenever you’re doing it. Work together and never give up.”
Caitlin is especially proud of HCA Healthcare’s rapid response during emergencies. “I never could have imagined the speed and scale at which I’ve seen us mobilize to disaster zones,” she says.
