The Standard received an email from the Sheriff’s Office Media Relations Coordinator, Paulette Redman, Monday, July 14. According to Redman, Transport Officers brought a man back from Minnesota, wanted in a 2021 case for several charges including aggravated assault. He arrived back in Stewart County, Thursday July 10. In January of 2021, deputies answering a complaint of a drunk driver heading into Stewart County from Montgomery County attempted to stop the vehicle, driven by an Aaron Miller of Andover, Minnesota, at Joiner Hollow Road.
