Springfield BOMA approves land agreement for new fire station

Despite a previous offer falling through last month, the City of Springfield is another step closer to bring a new fire station for residents in the southern part of town after a new land offer was approved last week.

At their monthly meeting on July 15, the Springfield Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously approved an offer in principle on a parcel of land for the city’s future fire station #3.
