Fort Campbell family raises funds for training of daughter’s service dog

Allison Black, a West Creek High School teenager, struggles each day with disabilities caused by Dandy Walker Syndrome and epilepsy and is in need of a specially trained service dog to help her with her every day needs.

Allison is part of a military family located at Fort Campbell. Her father Paul Black has been in the US Army for nearly 20 years and is currently an E-7 Soldier.

One in 10,000 children is born with Dandy-Walker Malformation, a congenital brain malformation involving the cerebellum and the fluid-filled spaces around it…
