The Standard received an email from Paulette Redman, Media Relations Coordinator for the Sheriff’s Office, July 14, saying the garden at the Stewart County Jail is thriving and the inmates are reaping the benefits. Redman said tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and potatoes are coming in and the lunches/ dinners for the inmates are looking better each day. “This gives our inmates fresh healthy vegetables daily.
