The kindness of strangers is credited to rescuing a driver who had an altercation with a tree last week.
According to a Tennessee City Fire and Rescue (TCFR) social media post, on Wednesday, July 16 around 7 p.m., TCFR crews were dispatched to the 1400 block of Highway 48 South where a single vehicle had hit a tree and ignited. The driver was unresponsive at the scene and sent to TriStar Horizon Medical Center for injuries, according to TCFR Fire Chief Daniel Tucker, Jr.
Tucker said when TCRF arrived on the scene, quick-thinking bystanders had pulled the driver from the vehicle already and put out the fire with extinguishers…
