HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Two people have been arrested for various charges, including drug trafficking, after several firearms and narcotics were found in their vehicle Monday night in Hopkinsville.
On July 21, at approximately 9:57 p.m. Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling southbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville. The stop was initiated due to excessively tinted windows, a violation of Kentucky law, and suspicion of the vehicle being uninsured.
The driver, Kenneth Fornof, 33, of Dover, TN, and the passenger, Valentina Soto, 25, were contacted during the stop. Fornof admitted the vehicle was uninsured and revealed he was on parole, subject to search and seizure. Deputies observed a magnetic lock box containing a large sum of cash and a Narcan container, commonly associated with drug activity.
