Multiple Middle Tennessee communities hold back-to-school events

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — With summer vacation just about over, children across Middle Tennessee are getting ready to head back to class.

Hundreds of students took part in Dickson County’s annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, July 26.

WDKN Radio, along with the school system, government leaders, and many sponsors and partners, set up shop at the Dickson County Fairgrounds to give away the basics for kids to start the new semester, like backpacks, paper, folders, and even special personal care baskets for teenage girls. In addition, various organizations set up educational and resource booths.
