Clarksville High golfer hits 3 consecutive eagles during tournament in Hermitage

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville High School senior golfer A.J. Forsythe hit three consecutive eagles (two strokes under par) on three straight holes – two par 4s, and a par 5 – at the Battle at the Hermitage in Old Hickory on Wednesday.

“I got the chills after the second one went in,” Forsythe told Clarksville Now. “The next hole was a short par 5, and I hit well enough for my third eagle in a row. Just a great experience on holes 6, 7, and 8. … The moment meant a lot to me, knowing it was my second year playing competitive golf, and it was the first tournament of my senior year with my boys.”
