Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority is proposing an increase to its wholesale price for the first time in 15 years. Chief Operations Officer, Melissa Spurr says they have been selling water to the Christian County Water District since 1973.
HWEA is currently contracted to supply CCWD with water through 2058. Director of Water, Daniel Lancaster says the study evaluated the fairness of operating costs.
