A distinctive set of shoes led to an inaugural Ashland City perp walk for one Nashville teenager.
According to an arrest affidavit filed by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) in the Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County Criminal Court, on Monday night, August 4, officers were dispatched to the Dollar General at 3721 Clarksville Pike in Nashville.
Arriving on the scene, a woman claimed she was approached at gunpoint in the parking lot while loading groceries into her daughter’s Enterprise rental car. She told officers when she turned around, a man with a gun allegedly told her to “Give it up.” She then handed the man $38 in cash, at which time the suspect then reportedly told her to give him her car keys, too.
