Plans continue to progress for the addition of a new sport at Todd County Central High School. During its meeting Monday night, the Todd County Board of Education voted to approve adding bass fishing to the school’s offering of KHSAA sanctioned sports.
Superintendent Jessica Addison notes that the approval process really all started with both student interest and community support. She pointed to other area school systems that have competitive bass fishing teams and added that Todd County wanted to explore the possibility of giving their students the same opportunity.
