ERIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 20-year-old man with a history of mental illness has been missing in Houston County for more than two days.
Jerison Hankins went missing on Saturday from his home in the Tennessee Ridge area on Mobley Lane.
His family reported him missing to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, and search efforts were launched immediately.

Emergency personnel gathered on Sunday to look for Hankins. They deployed drones and a helicopter with no success, and the operation was suspended after extreme heat made it difficult to continue.
