Dickson County set to install license plate readers

DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Dickson County is joining a growing list of Middle Tennessee communities to install license plate readers.

The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office said 12 to 14 LPRs will soon be set up, following unanimous approval from their county commission.

“Most of them will be in locations, primary entry/exit points for the county,” explained Sheriff Tim Eads. “We’ve been working (on this) and it’s been on the list, it’s been high on the list.”
