VIDEO: Suspect crashes into semi while fleeing from Cheatham County deputies

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A convicted felon led deputies in Cheatham County on a chase that reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour before crashing into a big rig on Interstate 24.

The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office said the incident unfolded on July 28 after Deputy Darius James observed Jimmy Netherton Jr. traveling in a stolen Nissan.

According to an arrest document, the Nissan was reported stolen out of the Metro area on July 7.
