ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — A police search shut down part of Interstate 24 westbound in Robertson County on Monday evening after authorities say two people ran from a crashed vehicle, including one believed to possibly be connected to a homicide investigation.
According to a report from Smokey Barn News, Metro Nashville police say the vehicle fled along I-24 before crashing near mile marker 21, between Maxey Road and Highway 49. Both passengers got out and ran. One suspect was taken into custody, while the second remains at large. THP is scanning a wooded area near the interstate by aircraft.
