I cannot remember the last time I had lunch for $6.56. But I did recently at the Lakeview Market and Hardware restaurant in Ashland City.
I admit that I did not order much – just a small barbecue sandwich and a water – but this is an interesting market to visit. It is a slice-of-life combination of an ethanol free gas station, bait shop, hardware store, community gathering spot and restaurant serving well priced barbecue, popular breakfast biscuits, plate lunches and burgers.
And the prices are what I would call delicious – under $6 (plus tax) for a burger or barbecue sandwich and $7.49- $11.99 for the plate lunches…
