CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) β The Montgomery County Commission had one rezoning case before them for the month of October for more than 11 acres off Ross Lane from agricultural district (AG) to single-family residential district (R-1).
J&N Enterprises is the applicant for the rezoning, and the land in question is on the eastern side of the southern terminus of Ross Lane, according to county documents.
Regional Planning Commission Director Jeffrey Tyndall spoke to the commission on Monday night and he told them the requested R-1 would be an extension of the R-1 to the north, as well as some to the east and southwest.
Tyndall said the tract is in the Planned Growth Area, is currently wooded and is in the Woodlawn Dotsonville Planning Area. βThe property to the east and to the northeast is Ireland Way, which was rezoned several years ago for a subdivision. Then, just this past year, the property to the north of this, on the west side, was rezoned as part as Jackson Hill.β…
