Hopkinsville Police arrested 34-year-old Jazmine Franklin of Hopkinsville after she reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit and assaulted an officer on Saturday.
Officers reportedly performed a traffic stop on Franklin’s vehicle while she was traveling northbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard for not wearing a seat belt. As the officer was walking toward Franklin’s vehicle she reportedly drove away.
Franklin was followed to the parking lot of Western KY Medical where she was detained. While being detained, Franklin was resisting arrest and reportedly kicked the arresting officer twice…
