CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The River Club Golf and Learning Center is planning to build a one-story, covered hitting bay facility at its location on Warfield Boulevard and is seeking site plan approval from the Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission.
The River Club would develop the one-story hitting bay on an existing concrete pad, according to part owner Greg Guinn.
“Since COVID, golf has changed somewhat,” Guinn told Clarksville Now. “With the Top Golf facilities in the larger metropolitian areas, people have gravitated somewhat towards the entertainment function of golf.”
“We have plans in front of the RPC to try and develop 15 Toptracer bays,” he said. “We poured the concrete for the pad, and we were going to do it outside, but then we decided against it because we need to be able to have people down there year-round regardless of the weather.”…
