Clarksville 270-bed Tennova hospital to be sold to Vanderbilt Medical for 600M

Tennova Healthcare Clarksville with 270 beds will soon be sold to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for $600 million, its parent for-profit company Community Health Systems Inc. announced Oct. 30.

According to a CHS media release, 80% of its remaining ownership of Tennova will be sold to VUMC.

VUMC currently holds a minority ownership stake, and through the purchase, will now own the remaining shares the news release said…
