Four candidates have expressed interest in being considered to fill the open seat in District 3 on the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board of Education as of the application deadline Oct. 29.
CMCSS District 3’s Herbert Nelson announced his resignation from the school board after six years during the Aug. 26 meeting.
“This will be my last official board meeting,” he said, citing personal health issues. “I submitted my notice about two weeks ago. I’d just like to say that my time on the board has been very fulfilling, and I’ve got to thank many of you who’ve supported me, and I thank you for all the support that I did receive.”…
