On Wednesday November 5th Henderson County requested assistance from the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit to attempt to find a wanted suspect. The man and a female suspect wrecked on Natchez Trace State Forest on Monday morning November 3rd. Both were injured and the male driver fled the scene before First Responders arrived.
It was unknown what injuries he had sustained but it was also determined that he had warrants for his arrest. A search of the area for 48 hours failed to turn up the suspect.
A request for the K-9 bloodhound “Boomer” was sent on Wednesday about 48 hours after the accident. Cpl. Aaron Taylor and Lt. Robbie MacDonald along with K-9 Boomer responded to the area in Natchez Trace State Forest. Once at the accident scene, Deputies acquired an article of clothing belonging to the suspect…
