E.T. Wickham’s artistry weathering the test of time in Palmyra

PALMYRA, Tenn. (WKRN) — A modern frontiersman, E.T. Wickham lived in a log cabin along Buck Smith Road in Palmyra. That’s where you can still find the remnants of his life’s work.

“It was not until he was later on in age, in his 60s, that he began sculpting these unique tributes to various individuals, mostly of either local, regional or even national prominence,” explained Frank Lott, executive director of the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center.
