NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is warning residents that school buses may be dropping students off late Thursday after multiple crashes caused traffic in the area.
The district said in a Thursday afternoon post that Interstate 24 Westbound and Ashland City Road remain closed after two deadly crashes happened there earlier in the day.
The district transportation department is rerouting buses amid the closures, but school leaders “anticipate delays of 30 minutes to over an hour in some areas due to road closures and traffic congestion.”…
