WHITE BLUFF, Tenn. (WKRN) — White Bluff has been dealing with a week of smoke and a strong odor in some parts of town that just won’t let up. This came after someone left a massive load of mulch behind a ballpark over the weekend, and it has been smoking ever since.
Residents said the first sign of trouble was the smell, then the smoke that settled over nearby roads and homes. The town reported that a third party, not affiliated with the town, is responsible.
“It is a really heavy burning of leaves is the smell, but it is so strong and it overbears you when you are close to it,” DeAnna Smith, who lives in White Bluff, described.
